Job summary

Qualifications

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
• BLS with ACLS and PALS preferred within one year.
• Mandatory Reporter Training.
• One year general Medical / Surgical experience preferred.
• Annual competency training and license/certification maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and discharge planning.
• Perform admission assessments and ongoing patient evaluation.
• Provide patient education and care plan development.
• Hourly rounding and safe medication administration including IV therapy.
• Collaborate with the health team and delegate care as needed.
• Maintain safety and use PPE appropriately.
