Job summary

Mass General Brigham Home Care, Inc. seeks a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team in Somerville, MA. You will scrub for procedures, assist in central sterile, and help keep the OR clean and stocked for daily cases.

Candidate should have OR instrumentation experience, knowledge of surgical terminology, and solid communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with nurses and physicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Surgical Technology degree preferred.
• Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology preferred.
• Experience in operating room instrumentation and sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Scrub procedure as assigned.
• Assist in central sterile between scrub assignments prn.
• Keep operating room clean and stocked.
• Assist circulating nurse with patient care in the room.
• Check daily for updates to OR procedures and practices.
