Kaiser Permanente's West Los Angeles Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA is hiring a Sp Unit Staff RN for the Operating Room. The role requires 1 year of recent OR experience and a California RN license with BLS certification. Full-time, day shift, hourly pay range noted in the highlights.

The RN will lead the care team, develop and adjust plans of care, ensure patient safety and effective pain management, and mentor newer staff while maintaining confidentiality and excellent patient service.

Formación

• 1 year of recent experience in an acute hospital operating room or surgicenter.
• Demonstrated leadership and delegation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
• Serve as a leader of the healthcare team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and optimal pain control.
• Document nursing processes and interventions accurately.
• Discuss patient findings with physicians and healthcare team members.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
• Practice customer service standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Act as a resource and mentor to new employees and team members.
