Job summary

Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA, is seeking a part-time Surgical Technologist to support sterile technique and instrument handling in the OR. The role includes scrubbing, passing instruments to the surgeon, and assisting in turnover and case cart duties under RN supervision.

Minimum qualification is graduation from a surgical technology program with Washington registration and BLS on hire. Two years OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a surgical technology program.
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Current experience as a registered Surgical Technologist; recent completion of an accredited program may be considered as current experience.

Responsibilities

• Function as the scrub technologist in the surgical suite, selecting and setting up sterile instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Pass instruments to the surgeon during procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Assist in circulating duties as assigned under RN supervision and support case cart turnover and service line technologist roles.
