Job summary

Baptist Health in Montgomery is seeking an OR Scrub Technician to scrub on surgical procedures in all specialties and support the surgical team. You will set up cases, maintain a sterile field, and count items with the nurse, while following aseptic technique and infection control policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a certified technician program or on-the-job training. CST preferred and BLS is required to qualify.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Scrub on surgical procedures in all specialties.
• Set up assigned cases and maintain a sterile field.
• Count items used during procedures with the nurse.
• Adhere to OSHA guidelines, safety and infection control policies.
• Stock and care for instruments, sutures, needles and basic equipment.
