Job summary

The Orthopedic Surgery Center of Arizona, part of United Surgical Partners International (USPI), is hiring a full-time OR Assistant. The role provides direct patient care in the operating room, supports setup/takedown, and helps stock and organize supplies throughout the day.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current CPR or BLS; CNA, MA or other certifications preferred.
• Demonstrates necessary clinical competency.

Responsibilities

• Know and adhere to Center policies and fiscal responsibility.
• Follow Universal Protocol and peri-operative nursing standards.
• Maintain aseptic technique and patient safety.
• Assist with setup and takedown of surgical procedures.
• Stock operating rooms with supplies and equipment as needed.
• Inform Manager of day-to-day situations and staffing needs.
• Remain calm and function as a team member under stress.
