Myadlm is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist nursing personnel in delivering quality operating room care. The role involves scrubbing under a registered nurse, preparing instruments, and maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures.

Candidates should have a surgical technology credential, program completion, and BLS. Typical duties include instrument handling, room setup, and assisting in counts and sterilization processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or related field.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Certification through NCCT or NBSTSA.
• BLS required.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Scrub.

Responsabilités

• Assists in scrub duties under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Gathers instruments for each case using surgeon's preference card.
• Checks sterility tapes, dates, and wrapper integrity.
• Assists circulating nurse with supplies and room setup.
• Performs sterile technique and gowning for self and team; maintains sterile field.

Formation

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or related field

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program

Certification through NCCT or NBSTSA

BLS

1-2 years of experience as a Scrub
