Job summary

Corewell Health in Dearborn Hospital is seeking a Part-time Operating Room Attendant to keep the ORs ready between cases, disinfecting equipment, mopping floors, and assisting with patient transfers after surgery.

You will deliver case carts, restock supplies, transport items to Lab/Blood Bank, and support linen and waste management while following service standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and disinfect case carts; return dirty carts to CPD and clean/reset OR rooms between cases.
• Assist with patient transfers post-surgery and set up rooms with equipment for upcoming procedures.
• Restock general supplies (foam, gloves, masks, specimen cups) and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment.
• Make runs to Lab and Blood Bank as needed and participate in Mass Blood Transfusion Protocol when required.
