Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Assumes primary responsibility for the plan of care for a patient or group of patients per unit standards.
• Delegates tasks to the health care team and follows up for continuity of care.
• Performs admission assessment including history, physical, and psychosocial evaluation.
• Develops and reviews the care plan with patient/family each shift.
• Administers medications and nursing treatments within scope of practice.
• Incorporates safety and comfort measures to maintain patient well-being.
