Job summary

Corewell Health's Farmington Hills Hospital is seeking an OR RN for a full-time day shift in the operating room. The site features 9 OR rooms and a cystoscopy room within a Level II trauma center, serving the Farmington Hills community since 1965.

You will provide professional nursing care under the Nurse Leader, using patient-family centered care, and participate in discharge planning, education, and documentation within the health record.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• Must be MI Registered Nurse (RN) and have passed the NCLEX licensure exam.
• AHA/ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• 1+ years of acute care RN experience preferred.
• OR RN experience preferred.
• Surgical technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and discharge. Collaborate with patient/family to develop and communicate goals of care.
