Job summary

Corewell Health is recruiting for a Registered Nurse at Royal Oak Hospital, a Level I trauma center with a fast-paced OR. You will provide patient-centered nursing care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in the hospital's robotic program across multiple service lines.

The role requires RN licensure in Michigan, an ADN and/or BSN, and BLS certification, with on-site responsibilities and variable shifts. On-call and weekend coverage are shared among the team.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing Required
• Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
• Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• 1+ year of acute care RN experience preferred
• Surgical Technologist experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process under the direction of the Nurse Leader and per Corewell Health policies and procedures.
• Plan, implement, evaluate and discharge patient care while partnering with patient/family.
• Develop teaching strategies for patient/family and document education in the health record.
