Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the OR. The role involves delivering professional nursing care on an operating room unit, coordinating with the care team, and sometimes serving as shift lead.

You will assess patient needs, develop goals, and implement orders while ensuring safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates hold an Arizona RN license, have critical care and NICU exposure, and can obtain necessary certifications within required timeframes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in Arizona.
• CPR certification; ACLS as applicable by department.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by unit and orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care on an assigned unit.
• Coordinate care planning with the healthcare team.
• Supervise and direct other staff as needed.
• Evaluate quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
• Participate in hourly patient rounding and discharge planning.
• Assess patient needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
