Job summary

Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to provide and coordinate patient care through the nursing process and ensure safe, therapeutic care.

Requirements include completion of an accredited nursing program, RN license in the state, BLS certification, and OR experience preferred. Day shifts 0630-1700, full-time 4 days/week with call. Join a Level 1 trauma center with teaching affiliations and a comprehensive rewards program.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
