Job summary

Mercy Washington is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN – First Assistant. The role delivers high-quality patient care using the nursing process, coordinating with departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality in a busy surgical setting.

The position requires current Missouri RN licensure, 2+ years intraoperative experience (3+ preferred), and BLS/ACLS within 1 year; CNOR & RN-FA within 1 year. BSN preferred, with a full-time schedule 40 hrs/week, days (4x10) with call.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Current RN Permit or RN License in Missouri.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years intraoperative experience as scrub and circulating nurse; 3+ years preferred.
• Certifications: BLS/ACLS required within 1 year; CNOR & RN-First Assistant within 1 year.

Responsibilities
