Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington in Missouri is seeking an Operating Room RN - First Assistant to deliver patient care using the nursing process and coordinate with other departments. The role upholds patient rights and confidentiality while providing leadership to other caregivers.

This full-time position requires MO RN licensure, 2+ years intraoperative scrub/circulating experience (3+ preferred), BLS/ACLS within 1 year, CNOR and RN-First Assistant within 1 year, and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license or temporary permit in Missouri.
• Minimum 2 years intraoperative experience as both scrub and circulating nurse.
• 3+ years intraoperative experience preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
• CNOR and RN-First Assistant certification required within 1 year.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other departments.
• Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and evaluation of other caregivers.
