Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an Operating Room RN – First Assistant to deliver exceptional patient care in the OR and to lead support staff. You will coordinate care with surgical teams, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and embody Mercy’s mission in every interaction.

The role requires Missouri RN licensure, 2+ years intraoperative experience (3+ preferred), and BLS/ACLS with CNOR and RN-First Assistant certifications within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Missouri is required.
• Minimum 2 years intraoperative experience as scrub and circulating nurse; 3+ years preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification required within 1 year of hire.
• CNOR & RN-First Assistant certification required within 1 year of hire.
• BSN preferred.

• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other departments.
• Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and evaluation of other caregivers.
