Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an Operating Room RN – First Assistant to deliver exceptional patient care, coordinating with departments and upholding patient rights and confidentiality. You will lead and evaluate the care team while aligning with Mercy’s mission and standards.

The role is full-time, dayshift (4x10s) with call, in Missouri, offering a $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs, strong benefits, tuition reimbursement, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Current RN Temporary Permit or RN License in the State of Missouri.
• Minimum 2 years of intraoperative experience as both scrub and circulating nurse; 3+ years preferred.
• BLS/ACLS – required within 1 year of hire.
• CNOR & RN-First Assistant certification required within 1 year.
• Preferred CNOR, CRNFA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other departments.
• Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and evaluation of other caregivers.
• Embody Mercy’s mission, values, and guiding principles in all interactions.
