Job summary

HonorHealth’s Four Peaks Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is hiring an RN for the Operating Room (Mids). The role requires OR experience, reliable, flexible availability for nights/weekend call, and a focus on patient safety and care quality.

Expect to work evenings on a 4x10 schedule with opportunities to contribute to perioperative care and patient education. The RN will document patient data, administer medications, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• The RN must hold an RN license in Arizona or be eligible for licensure in state.
• BSN within 60 months of hire or 5+ years RN experience required for consideration.
• CPR/BLS certification is required at start of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-focused nursing care in the OR with attention to safety and infection control.
• Administer meds, monitor vitals, and manage IV lines per orders and policies.
• Document patient care activities and communicate with the multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, and staff to ensure smooth procedures.
• Assess patient status pre- and post-operatively and assist with recovery planning.
• Educate patients and families about post-op care and home instructions.
