Job summary

WellSpan Health in Chambersburg, PA seeks a Registered Nurse for Surgical Services to support 11 OR suites, including obstetrics and cystoscopy, with Monday–Friday OR hours and weekend call. The role includes perioperative nursing, anesthesia coordination, Relias-based orientation, and robotic surgery participation (Da Vinci Xi).

Full-time, 80 hours biweekly. Responsibilities cover patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, along with safe medication practices and ED/OR

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• PA RN license: eligible or current; CPR/ACLS/PALS as required.
• Certification in specialty is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe medication practice.
• Maintains professional image and effective communication.
• Completes discharge assessments and plans of care.
• Assists in operating room preparation and instrument handling.
• Functions as a virtual nurse as assigned.
