Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center- Dallas is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to coordinate patient care within surgery. The RN uses the BSWH nursing model to assess, plan, and implement care, ensuring safety and timely recovery.

Da Vinci robotic experience is highly preferred for this full-time, day-shift position. Responsibilities include collaboration with surgical teams, accurate documentation, and adherence to Texas Nursing Practice Act.

Qualifications

• TX RN license required.
• 1 year OR RN experience required.
• Da Vinci robotic experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care in the operating room using the BSWH nursing model.
• Assess patient needs and develop an individualized care plan.
• Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient responses.
• Delegate tasks to team members and monitor progress.
• Uphold patient safety, documentation, and regulatory standards.
