Jefferson Health in Abington is seeking a Registered Nurse for the operating room on a full-time day schedule. The role requires circulating and scrubbing experience with (4) 10-hour shifts available and prior OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and collaboration.
• Cultural awareness and respect for diverse backgrounds.
• Effective communication and partnership with patients and families.
• Knowledge of health information documentation and records.
• Active RN license in state of practice (PA).
• Ability to apply evidence-based nursing practices and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with patients and families to educate and plan care.
• Participate in evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
• Use information systems to document and communicate patient care.
• Work within nursing and inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate care.
• Support precepting and staff development activities.
