Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA seeks an experienced Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and deliver bedside nursing care in accordance with physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The RN will manage an assigned group of patients, participate in care coordination, and uphold Northside Hospital's values of collaboration and empowerment.

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with GA RN license and BLS; BSN preferred and ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed RN in Georgia in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients according to physician orders and established guidelines.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. The practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• PREFERRED:
• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Work Hours:

6:45am-3:15pm
