OhioHealth is seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurse to join the Surgical department. The role involves providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care, performing assessments, planning and implementing care, and documenting outcomes for patients in the operating room setting.
Recent OR RN experience is required; BSN preferred with a minimum of five years in nursing. Day shift, 40 hours per week, with Ohio nurse licensure and BLS certification required.

Shift information: No weekends, no holidays.
Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in perioperative and operating room settings. The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. According to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.
