OhioHealth is seeking an experienced registered nurse for intraoperative perioperative care in our surgical department. The role requires at least 1 year of recent intraoperative RN experience in an acute care hospital, and on-call availability within 30 minutes.
Candidates must hold an Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN is required after 5 years of employment. The position involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for patients in a dynamic team setting.

When on-call associates must be at the hospital and ready within 30-minutes. This timeframe includes driving, parking, walking into the hospital and reporting to the charge nurse in 30 minutes or less. This is a firm requirement. Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings. The RN accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. According to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.
