OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Unit 1 to deliver professional nursing care during night shifts. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients, collaborating with licensed practical nurses and UAPs in a 24/7/365 environment.

Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings. (Department has scheduled staff to operate 24/7/365). The RN accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. According to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.
BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state. BLS certification BSN required at 5 years of employment
