Job summary

USPIMemorial Hermann Surgery Center Greater Heights is seeking an Operating Room Nurse. The RN will support care for patients undergoing operative procedures across ENT, general, GI, GYN, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain, plastic, podiatry, and urology.

Workdays are Monday–Friday with schedule changes based on the surgical day and some early mornings or late evenings. The role requires at least two years of OR experience, Texas RN licensure, and current CPR/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum two years' OR experience.
• Current Texas RN license.
• CPR, ACLS, and PALS current.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Knowledge of OR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for nursing activities related to care of the patient undergoing an operative or other invasive procedure.
• Care for adult patients including geriatric, and pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence.
• Scope includes gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, urology, pain management, ophthalmology and general surgery.

is seeking a motivated Operating Room Nurse to join our team. We have 5 OR rooms and 3 Treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, GI, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call.

Some later evenings required.

Job Summary:

The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure. The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence. Our scope of service includes gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, urology, pain management, ophthalmology, and general surgery.
