Job summary

USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center, Sugar Land, is seeking a motivated Operating Room Nurse to join our team. The RN will provide nursing care and service during surgery, including patient positioning, prepping, and circulating.

Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of Circulator experience, a current unrestricted Texas RN license, and an active BLS certification. BSN preferred. Position requires weekdays only with no holidays or weekends, with some evenings possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current unrestricted RN license in the state.
• Minimum 1 year as a Circulator.
• Current American Heart BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position, prep, and circulate the patient during surgery.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required.

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.

Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
