The USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Greater Heights is seeking a motivated Operating Room Nurse to join our team. We have 5 OR rooms and 3 Treatment rooms, performing outpatient procedures across ENT, General, GI, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, and Urology.

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum two years previous OR experience.
• Current Texas license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current in CPR, ACLS and PALS.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians and employees.
• Knowledgeable of operating room nurse policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for nursing activities related to care of patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures.
• Care for adult patients including geriatric and pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence.
• Support XR, ENT, GYN, Orthopedics, Urology and other surgical services as part of the team.

USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Greater Heights is seeking a motivated Operating Room Nurse to join our team. We have 5 OR rooms and 3 Treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, GI, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required.

Job Summary: The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure. The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence. Our scope of service includes gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, urology, pain management, ophthalmology, and general surgery.
