Job summary

USPI Pearland Surgery Center is seeking an OR Circulator to join our team. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case across orthopedic, ENT, urology, colorectal, general, plastic, pain management, and GI endoscopy procedures.

The ideal candidate will focus on excellent customer service, multitask effectively, adapt to changing daily schedules, maintain infection control standards, and work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Must have a current unrestricted RN license in the state.
• 1-2 years of experience working as Circulator.
• Current American Heart BLS certification.
• Scrub experience a bonus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient and prep for the procedure.
• Circulate the case during surgery and support the team.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterile technique.
• Provide excellent customer service and work within a multidisciplinary team.

Education

RN license (unrestricted)

BSN preferred

Circulator experience (1-2 years)

BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Scrub experience bonus

Job description

USPI Pearland Surgery Center is seeking a motivated OR Circulator to join our team. We have 2 main OR rooms and 2 minor OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Colorectal, General, Plastic, Pain Management, GI Endoscopy. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, and 1 Saturday a month, schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.

Position requires Monday-Friday and 1 Saturday a month.

Job Summary:

The OR Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
