Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Torrance, CA. The role covers scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures and admissions to the OR suite, reporting to the Nurse Manager and supervised by the RN in the assigned operating rooms.

Requirements include active RN licensure in the practicing state, OR experience preferred, BLS, health certificate if applicable, and PPD/Chest X-Ray as required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• BLS certification current.

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures.
• Assisting in department admissions to the operative suite.
• Direct supervision under the RN in the operating rooms assigned.

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. He/She is responsible to the Nurse Manager and is directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which he/she is assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which he/she practices
• Documentation and confirmation of one year of operating room clinical experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years preferred
• Current BLS card.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
