Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse (RN) for travel assignments in Norfolk, VA. The role involves scrubbing and/or circulating for operative procedures and admissions to the operative suite.

The RN will report to the Nurse Manager and work under supervision of the RN in the OR, with 36 hours per week and a pay rate of $2,614 per week. Benefits are offered per Amergis policy and project needs.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which you practice.
• One year of operating room experience in an acute care hospital preferred.
• Current BLS card.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and/or circulates for operative procedures and assists in admissions to the operative suite.
• Works under supervision of the RN in the operating rooms to which assigned.

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. He/She is responsible to the Nurse Manager and is directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which he/she is assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which he/she practices

• Documentation and confirmation of one year of operating room clinical experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years preferred

• Current BLS card.

• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)

• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
