Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse (RN) to perform scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures in a travel capacity. The role includes department admissions to the operative suite under supervision by the RN in the OR, with a 40-hour work week based in Greenwich, CT.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in the practicing state, at least one year of OR experience, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• One year of operating room clinical experience in an acute care hospital preferred.
• BLS certification current.
• Health certificate current (if applicable).
• PPD or Chest X-Ray current.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and/or circulate duties for operative procedures.

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. He/She is responsible to the Nurse Manager and is directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which he/she is assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which he/she practices
• Documentation and confirmation of one year of operating room clinical experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years preferred
• Current BLS card.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
