Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Operating Room in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The assignment runs 13 weeks, with a 40-hour week and 8-hour shifts, as a travel nurse in a hospital setting.

The RN will scrub and/or circulate for operative procedures and be supervised by the RN in the OR. Requirements include current RN licensure, BLS, and one year of OR experience preferred; Health Certificate and PPD/Chest X-Ray current.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Registered Nurse in the state where you practice.
• Documentation and confirmation of one year of operating room experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray must be current.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and/or circulate for operative procedures in the OR.
• Assist with department admissions to the operative suite.
