Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Columbia, Maryland. The position is 13 weeks long, with 40 hours per week and a Day shift (8 hours) from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

The role requires OR nursing experience, current RN licensure in the practice state, and BLS. Ophthalmology experience and circulating duties are important, with scrub experience preferred. No call, no weekends, no holidays.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• One year OR experience in acute care preferred.
• BLS certification.
• Health certificate if applicable.
• PPD or Chest X-Ray current.

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. He/She is responsible to the Nurse Manager and is directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which he/she is assigned.
Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which he/she practices
• Documentation and confirmation of one year of operating room clinical experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years preferred
• Current BLS card.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• MUST have ophthalmology experience
• Circulating experience required, scrub experience preferred
• Day 8 (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
• No Call,No Weekends,No Holidays,Float: NO
• BLS, OR Experience
