Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks an Operating Room Nurse to scrub and/or circulate for operative procedures and assist with admissions to the operative suite in Glendale, CA. The role reports to the Nurse Manager and is supervised by the RN in the assigned ORs.

Minimum requirements include active RN licensure in the state of practice, BLS, and health-related documents. Travel assignment with competitive weekly pay and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where practice.
• One year of operating room experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current Health Certificate, if applicable.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and/or circulate for operative procedures.
• Assist with department admissions to the operative suite.

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. He/She is responsible to the Nurse Manager and is directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which he/she is assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which he/she practices
• Documentation and confirmation of one year of operating room clinical experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years preferred
• Current BLS card.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
