Job summary

Regent Surgical seeks an OR RN to provide intraoperative patient care under Clinical Leadership. You will assess patients, monitor progress, and communicate with staff to enhance safety and quality of care in intraoperative areas.

The role requires RN licensure in the appropriate state and active BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as dictated by ASC policy, with Bachelor's/Master’s in Nursing preferred. On-site work in a surgical setting is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in appropriate State required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications as required by ASC policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative care in procedure rooms and operating rooms.
• Transport patients to and from operating/procedure room.
• Prepare patients for surgery and position them on the operating table.
• Verify medications and patient, procedure, site, and equipment match.
• Perform timeouts and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Assist surgeon with instruments and monitor patient vitals.
• Ensure OR is stocked and ready with necessary supplies.
