Job summary

Regent Surgical Health is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to deliver safe, high-quality intraoperative care in procedure rooms and the operating suite, coordinating with surgeons and staff.

You will assess patient needs, prepare for surgery, monitor vitals, maintain sterile technique, verify medications and supplies, and document nursing care to ensure continuity of care. Requires RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS per ASC policy; ASC experience and CNOR are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with RN licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification as required by ASC policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with intraoperative care in procedure rooms and operating rooms.
• Transport patients to and from operating/procedure room.
• Prepare patients for surgery by disinfecting skin and positioning them, ensuring supplies and medications are ready.
• Verify name, strength and dosage of medications; verify patient, procedure and site; participate in timeout.
• Maintain sterile technique and communicate with the surgical team to ensure continuity of care.
