Job summary

Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan (OAM) is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for our Grand Rapids Surgery Center. You will apply nursing knowledge to care for patients in the intraoperative setting, assemble supplies, and support sterile technique to ensure patient safety and efficient procedures.

Minimum requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing and an active Michigan RN license, with OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing.
• One+ yearsof OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist during induction and emergence of anesthesia and anesthesia emergencies.
• Coordinate transfer of patient to and from the operating room and ensure sterile technique.
• Document intraoperative care and ensure accuracy of surgical site and implants.
