Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan (OAM) in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Operating Room Assistant Float/Radiology Tech to support intraoperative imaging and perioperative operations in our outpatient surgery center.

The role combines radiology technology with OR readiness, patient flow, and supply management, offering a versatile, team-based environment dedicated to safe, efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT certification.
• BLS/CPR completion or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Experience in a healthcare environment, preferably outpatient surgery.
• Knowledge of radiographic positioning, imaging techniques, fluoroscopy, and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging procedures per physician orders and protocols.
• Operate and maintain C-arm fluoroscopy equipment during orthopedic procedures.
• Position patients for optimal imaging while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain imaging records and documentation per regulatory requirements.
• Assist with quality assurance activities related to radiology services.
• Support operating room readiness, patient flow, and perioperative supply management.
