Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Current RN license in state of practice; BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification required within 90 days if assigned ASC pediatrics.
• Minimum one-year licensed RN experience in OR or related perioperative areas.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological, social and discharge planning.
• Formulate and implement plan of care with multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing activities per policy and physician orders.
• Document assessment, planning and outcomes in the patient record.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care accordingly.
• Provide care based on best available evidence and mentor staff.
