Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing or higher required.
• Current, valid RN license in state of practice or compact license.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS within 90 days if pediatrics assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care.
• Formulate care plans and discharge planning in collaboration with health team.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise health care team activities.
• Communicate patient status to caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
• Document care and patient responses accurately in the chart.
