Job summary

Essentia Health St. Mary’s- Detroit Lakes seeks an experienced nurse to organize and provide nursing care across the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation cycle. You will delegate care to qualified staff and uphold the hospital’s mission and regulatory standards.

The role requires an active nursing license in Minnesota, with BCLS and ACLS certifications obtained within specified timeframes. This position is based in Detroit Lakes in the Surgery department.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
• BCLS certification within one month; ACLS certification within one year.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions.
• Contributes to the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets Joint Commission and regulatory requirements.
