Medical University of South Carolina seeks a radiologic technologist to provide technical and clinical support to the Imaging department. You will operate X-ray equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and coordinate imaging with the radiology team.
The position requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registration, SC licensure, and BLS certification. Flexibility with shifts and call is expected.
Responsible for providing technical and clinical support to the Imaging department. Operates X-ray equipment for diagnostic and/or therapeutic purposes.
Monday – Friday 4/10 hour shifts 7am – 530 pm with 1-2 possible late shifts a week. Flexible call schedule (roughly 8 per month) varies with rotation.
Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
At least two years of modality specific work experience required. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
