Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic procedures with care for neonatal through geriatric patients. The role includes fluoroscopy and lumbar puncture capabilities, delivering high-quality patient care in a busy radiology department.

Required are an AMA-approved radiologic technology program or JRCERT accreditation, plus ARRT registration and BCLS on hire, with at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 2 years experience required.
• ARRT Registered and BCLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provide patient services using imaging modalities.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Demonstrates ability to perform advanced diagnostic imaging (Fluoroscopy and Lumbar punctures).
• Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
