Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiologic equipment and perform diagnostic imaging across age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. The role includes advanced imaging such as fluoroscopy and lumbar punctures.

Education requires AMA/JRCERT program graduation; ARRT registration and BCLS are required upon hire, with a competitive sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program is required.
• 2 years experience is required.
• ARRT registration is required upon hire.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provides patient services using imaging modalities and cares for patients across all ages.
• Demonstrates ability to perform advanced diagnostic imaging including fluoroscopy and lumbar punctures.
• Provides more complex technical care to meet identified patient needs.

Responsibilities:

Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Provide patient services using imaging modalities. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance diagnostic imaging (Fluoroscopy and Lumbar punctures). Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
