Job summary

University of Southern California Arcadia Hospital seeks a Perioperative Support Services Technician to coordinate daily case scheduling and facilitate communication among physicians, offices, and hospital staff. You will input post-op data and help maintain accurate charges within the OR workflow.

This role requires a High School diploma, 1 year OR scheduling experience, and 2 years of clerical work. Strong medical terminology knowledge and typing skills are preferred for efficient daily

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1 year operating room scheduling experience or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years clerical experience (required).
• Typing skills with strong knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule cases and allocate appropriate time.
• Input post-op data into the system.
• Serve as receptionist for the unit and handle clerical tasks as needed.
• Assist with billing duties and compute operating room charges as necessary.
