Job summary

US Fertility is seeking an OR/PACU RN to join our team in Towson, Maryland. This role offers a schedule of every other Saturday and Sunday, 5:45 AM until shift end, with compensation ranging from $38 to $45 per hour, commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will provide patient care before, during, and after surgery, collaborating with a national network of physicians to deliver compassionate fertility care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• 2 to 3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU.
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans.
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery.
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members.
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation.
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed.

We have an immediate opening for an OR/PACU RN to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Towson, Maryland.
