Job summary

US Fertility is seeking an OR/PACU RN to join the team at the San Francisco Bay Area center in Menlo Park, with occasional float to San Ramon. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, plus rotation for weekends/holidays.

Compensation ranges $65–$70/hour, commensurate with experience, with opportunities for growth within a nationally respected organization. The role emphasizes collaboration across a wide physician network, direct perioperative care, and support for patients and families

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• 2–3 years of PACU/Operating Room nursing experience preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to document and retrieve information electronically.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed
