US Fertility in Menlo Park, CA is seeking an OR/PACU RN for a part-time role at the Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area. You will perform preoperative assessments, assist with anesthesia care, monitor patients, and support families with empathy throughout the perioperative process.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• 2–3 years PACU/operating room experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to access and input information in a computer system.
• Ability to work independently with good judgment and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems and plan care.
• Conduct initial preoperative assessments and explain subsequent surgical phases.
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to patients and families.
• Demonstrate proficiency in care for patients with various anesthesia or sedation.
• Administer medications by IV and other routes as directed.
• Provide patient education.
