Job summary

US Fertility in Menlo Park, CA, is seeking an OR/PACU RN to join the team at the Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area. The position will float to San Ramon, CA as needed, with a Monday–Friday schedule and an hourly compensation of $65–$70, commensurate with experience.

This role offers growth within a nationally respected organization and close patient-team collaboration. The candidate will bring active RN license, BLS/ACLS certifictions, and 2–3 years PACU/operating room

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 2–3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU preferred.
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems and formulate care plans.
• Perform initial preoperative assessment and develop a plan of care; explain surgical phases.
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to patients and families.
• Demonstrate proficiency with anesthesia types and conscious sedation.
• Administer medications via IV and other routes as directed.
• Provide patient education.
